Hareesh Chandra Kumar

Hi everyone. I am Captain Hareesh Chandra Kumar, a retired army officer. Born and brought up in the city of Nawabs, have studied in St Francis' College, Lucknow. Having undergone academic and military training in  the National Defence Academy, Khadakwasla, I finally got commissioned into the army on passing out from the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun in Jun 1990.
I am a passionate runner and a keen sportsman, having played soccer from Eastern Command.

Having taken to serious running in 2019, I have so far participated in Procam HMs and FMs in the country, to include VDHM, TMM, TCS as also NDM. Ultra runs are next on my radar.

Just the thought that I've still got a lot to learn, gets me out of bed, into my running shoes and on the road every morning.

I am an active member of a promising running group in Lucknow by the name of "The Running Tribe".

Am proud to be part of a much bigger running entity, the "Forces Runners" who keep you motivated and going strong every single morning.

I must say, I am really excited to be a "first time pacer" at this prestigious Procam event, the TSK 2023, Kolkata.
