Tata Steel Kolkata 25K - 18th December 2022

Kinshuk Kohli

Kinshuk Kohli’s running journey started late at the age of 44 in 2017 when he added slow jogs to his walks to lose weight.

Gradually he started enjoying the runs and distances followed. He had inspiration and motivation and tips from a Boston qualifier, senior physician colleague and company of his spouse for the runs. He cherished the sport as it is a competition with self and the urge to do better than your previous performance and not others and every finisher is a winner. He felt the benefits of running in physical fitness and mental health and started advocating running to patients to control diabetes or to lose weight.

He did several appx 11 HMs and 2 FMs so far.

It is important to enjoy each run the course and surroundings.  Strive to avoid injuries to keep running. During a run slow if you must try not to stop.  slow and steady will complete the race.

This is his first pacing experience as would be the distance beyond 21.1 for some fellow runners. He would be extremely happy if he can assist and motivate people to reach their target distance goal and for others their time goal in TSK 2022.
