My name is Jhilum Sarkar and I am 46 years old. I am married to Saurav Sarkar. I am a mother of two,  a son and a daughter aged 18 years and 14 years respectively. I am a yoga teacher by profession and running is my passion. I have been teaching yoga since 2014 and prior to that I worked with Standard Chartered bank, Kolkata  and Quantum Market research company, Kolkata till 2014. I shifted to Mumbai in 2014 and I left my job and thereafter I started running in 2018 and since then I have participated in three full marathons, 15 half marathons and many 10k runs. I have been training under Satish Gujaran since 2020.  I have recently shifted back to Kolkata as this is my hometown. I wish to keep running as long as I can because running not only keeps me healthy physically but also emotionally.  I am able to stay away from medicines because of regular running and yoga practice.
